Good show - now, if you wouldn't mind, flip the pump over and take a few clear shots of the modified hub area - the pics in the original post are quite blurry - please and thank you..................... |

Now, that is some clear - nice shots, Bill - as you can see, that is a new original casting, not the old original casting with the hub\collar removed by fly-cuttting - the large round cover now seals to the case and the torque convertor drive hub - those flat round shiny areas in the casting on either side of the stator shaft are the pins for the two pump gears - the pump is a dual-gear dual-output design - the TCM runs the output of both gears at low engine rpm to get good line pressure\volume, then a valve bypasses the secondary gear, running on the primary gear only as pump pressure increases due to increasing input rpm - some shudder can be caused as the secondary gear is valved in\out You might disassemble the oem pump for some show'n'tell, if you have some time - that's all those torx stove bolts - I've been trying to purchase a pre-owned original-design pump for show'n'tell, incl machining off the hub for re-use, but no luck That 52119559 is the p\n for the cover\front seal, needed when installing the TC on a used pump |

Ya, it would be interesting to know if 1. The pump is identical , minus the boss 2. if the new cover is available as a solo part I PMed you re: quest for pump |
