I have tried reversing and applying the E brake on my Jeep as i read that doing this will cause them to self adjust. The E brake however is still only working on the last click
and barely keeps the vehicle from moving on an incline.

Does this method work or do i need to remove the wheels and adjust using the adjuster on the brake disc or inner drum.

Some help thanks.

Mack.

No, the e-brake has manual adjustment and shoud not rub at all when released. First adjust the e-brake shoes then adjust the brake cable.

Jeepster's thread includes the cable adjustment inside - and links to the brake adjustment at the rear shoes
