Is anyone having trouble keeping the engine up to operating temp with your egr disabled? It hasn't been real warm around here lately(50-60) and I notice that the engine temp drops to about 1/4 on the gauge if the crd is just idling. Not a good thing considering winter is coming. |

It should not drop at all if the Viscous fluid heater is functioning. When I had mine disabled it would take a while to get up to temp if it was cold but it would stay at the proper temp as long as it was running. |

Sounds like the thermostat is sticking open partially and/or the viscous heater isn't working. |

I agree. Mine will drop to 1/4 at idle if it's 10ºF outside but 50-60 should be no problem. |
