I have a friend with an 05 CRD that just called. He says that he starts it, it'll start run for about 10 seconds and stall. He noticed that his glow plug lights are not going out at all. I wasn't able to find anything specific to the Liberty but on a Mercedes forum there was a post about a similar problem indicating the need to replace the glow plugs. Ill buy the light on all the time as indicator for glow plug replacement but the stalling? Any suggestions?

is he using the correctly coded transponder key? - it's got a computer timeout of about 10 secs if it's not the right code.

folks with glow plug issues sounded like it's start 2-3 cylinders and run rough - not die.
