The trick (other than the tabs) is to pull up AND towards the BACK of the Jeep. But you already have them moving so maybe thats not it? Pull HARDER!?!?

I want to put a set of seat covers on and I can not for the life of me get the headrests off...front or back. What is the trick or are they permanent? They go up and down, just not OUT!!! |

There should be a tiny button on the side of the hole the headrests are in, if you press the button while trying to lift off the headrests they should come off, but maybe you've tried this already? |
