I was recently in Detroit for work and was reading the car ads in the local paper. A big local jeep dealer had a full page ad showing the cars for sale. I noted that in the product description they showed how many of the '08s they had in stock: Libertys 75, Grand Cherokee 55, Commander 250.

Makes you feel sorry (almost) for the dealer stuck with that kind of stock in late Sept.

By the way, Detroit is "empty". It is now a city of less than 900k, down from over 2 mil in the 50s.

while people are moving out of Detroit in droves......those numbers are a little misleading. All the build up of businesses has taken up a lot of the residential space in Detroit proper.....plus many folks have moved to the suburbs. Different cities all together.

I'm from there and read with interest about family and friends still there.....Detroit = easy target.

My two cents....

When the country gets a mild cold, Detroit catches Double Pneumonia.
I don't miss it.

Another though to ponder. If the Moletech worked, don't you think that dealer would order a crate of them and put them to use?
