How hard should the front wheels spin when you have the front jacked up off the ground?

I would think they should free wheel with a spin. There is no way they are going to do that actually seam to spin hard.

Was checking because I have a noise that sounds like one of the calipers is sticking or a universal is going bad but all seam free, I do have to replace the rear brakes they are shot.

Front brake pads still have around 1/4" on them.

Any ideas?

No, the noise comes and goes. Today I only heard it once, yesterday was every time to turned left or right.

Sounds like its coming from the front left, but real hard to tell when it's not doing it consistently.

I have been working on cars and trucks since the 70's, I never heard anything like it.

At 54k easy miles I would hope its not a wheel bearing.
