Okay I am going to do it...

What all should I get? I know the TC
what about the clutch pack? Is that a hard thing to swap out?

Is the throttle body hard to do with the trans in the truck..

I wanna remove the trans only once for all this... What should I get?

What throttle body? This puppy is a Diesel i.e. no throttle.

I did the transmission pump, shift kit, aux cooler with thermal bypass and Suncoast T/C.
Use the search.
I farmed out the pump, shift kit, cooler and thermal by pass installs.
The difficult things were manifold clamp, tranny dipstick and 4' of extensions to get the top housing bolts.
I bought a torque wrench for the T/C bolts just to be sure.
Make sure you have a tranny lift and leave the transfer case on.
2 or more to get it done.
20 hours in and out by nubee's, 3 hours for the shift kit, pump by a pro.
Off hand I would say $1,500+, do not forget about 12 quarts of ATF 4.

I don't think that anyone has yet found a way to overload the stock transmission clutch pack with the little 2.8L CRD engine. The Suncoast TC comes with better stator clutch material which seems to be plenty strong for the available performance boxes and tunes.

I said we are neubee's. My last engine overhaul was in the early 70's.
An experienced guy, handsome and intelligent to boot, should be able to do it in a good day.
My 17 year old with this fat, old and ugly guy did pretty well in 2 full days, 1 out, 1 in.
The shift kit instructions said 3 hours and the tranny guy charged us for 3 hours.
He even changed out the springs in the new pump.
