Well we traded the CRD in yesterday for a Commander. We needed something with 3 rows of seats. The CRD has been a great vehicle for us and it would be a great loss to me if I did not have the Grand Cherokee CRD. The one thing that was great was that the trade in on the CRD was $2000 more than an equally equipped gas model. This site and its members have been a great help to me over the last 3 years and I have learned more in 3 years of reading here than I did in the rest of my life about Diesels.

Long Live the CRD.

I shooda posted mine for sale. I just got rid of the 06 4.7 commander. It was one of the best built tanks that Jeep has ever made.

If you got the 4.7, I have an AFE intake for it. Mine went from 13.6 to 15.8 MPG. I got much better, but the wife drives like she's runnin from the law:)

I'm keepin my CRD until the doors fall off, then getting a roll of duct tape...

My wife, however, is interested in a Grand Cherokee and I'm trying to steer her to the 3.0L diesel. I'd be interested in a CRD Commander also. (They exist, just not in the US.)

You can find good deals on CRD WKs if you look around (ebay and such)

I hate that I like this car.
The term "mule" that people use in reference to these things is appropriate. Well, perhaps jacka$$ is ever more appropriate.
