I'm heading up to Philly for a road-trip this weekend and wondered if there were any good places to get my first tank of biodiesel. I found a couple places listed on biodiesel.org, but wandered if anyone had any local information that I might be missing.

My route will take me up Rt.13/1 from VA Beach to Wilmington, DE, then I-95N to Philly.

Any information about options along this route, or suggestions for my first experience with biodiesel would be greatly appreciated!

Nope, Philly is a dry town when it comes to bio. I get mine from Moyer's Pluming in Kutstown. About 80 miles north/west of Philly. Now a year from now it may be differant, there is a new startup that wants to make bio out of trap grease.

Here is there link

Thanks for the info n3qik. Get Moyer's to put themselves on the biodiesel.org map of retailers. PA looks light and I know there are more in that state than the 5 listed.

I ended up finding B20 at a BP on Rt13 in DE. Pulled into the lot to buy another tank of petro and the headlights swept across an above-ground tank with a big ol' American flag and "B20" painted on it. No advertisement from the road at all. I told them about the retailer map on biodiesel.org...don't know if they'll follow through or not. The B20 cost a little more than the petro, but the clattering dropped some and I haven't seen smoke on hard acceleration since. Sweeeeeeeeeet!
