How do I do this? I've got an '05 CRD Sport. I'm just trying to maximize my off-road potential. I do about 80% on road driving but if this is a simple mod, I figure, why not? So if anyone could post a description with or without pictures, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance, -Barry- |

This should be the same as in the gas KJ's - I'd check in the 4x4 and off-road forums on this site. |

I'm new to the KJ world but in my TJ I never had to do a rear sway bar disconnect. I did get extended sway bars to match my lift. If you plan on doing this quite a bit, say once a month or so, I think I would check out a thing call TKsliders. I know they are made for a TJ but I would think he could make them work for our KJ's as well. It allows you to remove a pin and let you articulate more without actually removing the SB. Then when you are done you put the pin back in and go. MrCRD |

Remove all the bolts FWIW the up-country pkg on the old cherokees deleted the rear sway but added stiffer dampers and springs which likely negated the handling difference. |
