so i installed my samco hoses today.... i noticed that i lost boost pressure...
before i was spiking to 23 psi and constant 19 under acceleration....
now the spike is 20 and 15 under acceleration... what gives? more flexible hoses?

and the EGT Q... for those of us who are pre turbo... what are your cruise and idle
temps? mine are 550 cruising and 3-400 idle

thanks in advance

That's weird, all others claim the boost pressure INcreased...

Did you tighten the clamps good enough?

When I first checked the hoses I did not tighten the clamps enough and they leaked. Eventually there was a loud pop and major loss of power because one popped off!!!

Seems silly and insulting to ask...but others have done it.

not insulting... that was the first thing i checked...
and i was driving around town....

on the highway i can get it up to 21 psi.... but i have
to be on it hard and it happens around 90 mph...
the highway boost pressures are around normal...
around town they seem lower
