Cool Hose intake tube
Turbo Air Guide
Workhorse Module
CFM+ intake Manifold
AirDog lfit pump and fuel/air separator and filter

Mag-Hytec diff cover and trany pan
Amsoil 5W-30 and by-pass
Amsoil air filter
Amsoil trany fluid
Amsoil gear lube
Amsoil Cetane additive
Amsoil Diesel Fuel Concentrate additive

do you have an auto or manual? also, how many miles?

GM projects a Yukon so equipped would get around 28 mpg in city driving vs. 21 for a comparable gas-engine model."

Looks like a misprint on the mileage, I'm sure they are meaning highway instead of "City"

I average 25 mpg on the highway in my 06 2500 Ram, I've never calculated city mpg.

So..................you're getting well in excess of 750 miles per tank or more (assuming you have a 34 gal tank with a shortbed configuration or 35 gal tank with a longbed configuration), correct ?

I have an 04.5 2500 long bed quad cab, 2wd with nv5600 on 3.73 gears.

Even now in the winter, i'm routinely getting 22-23 in town and 25-26 on the highway, and that's with 600lbs of sand in the bed for traction (all hand calc'd).

I'd echo what Mr Mopar said... from what I have read (recently), both GM and Ford put their diesel v6 programs on hold. Ford has hinted they will drop it all together in favor of direct injection/turbo charged gassers. Cummins/Chrysler is the only US manufacturer still in the game at this point.

The next small diesel SUV/truck on the horizon is the VW Toureg 3.0 TDI, using the same engine as the MB 320 diesel (and which the defunct Grand Cherokee CRD used an earlier version of).

If were climbing I 70 going up to eisenhower tunnel @ 80 with our fishing gear, it drops to around 8

ok, well that explains the lower mileage, you are just now finally loosing up were are @ 59,xxx. And yes, we have been rebuilding a Subaru out in Bennett for the last 4 months. that 30 is a combined trip to Bennett. It's like 11 miles from my house to I70,then I70 to Watkins, Watkins north to 88th and east 5 miles. than back to the flying J

I have an 04.5 2500 long bed quad cab, 2wd with nv5600 on 3.73 gears. Even now in the winter, i'm routinely getting 22-23 in town and 25-26 on the highway, and that's with 600lbs of sand in the bed for traction (all hand calc'd). In the summer with warmer temps and no more winter blend fuel I've seen just shy of 30. FYI, this engine was supposed to be the new engine for the 1500 series trucks (like 4.5L or something like that). It had the breathing reversed (exhaust ports + turbo) was in the Vee of the engine, but last I heard the development had been put on hold indefinitely with the economic situation, so I doubt you'll see it for 2010. Ford also had a small diesel for the F150 to come in 2010, i think that's been put on hold -- so far, the Cummins 5.0L in the 1500 is the only one I know of still on target.

Greg yep i kinda cry when i think about my moms burban, she is is getting almost 18mpg out of it in the city. as for me, i can squeeze 16.5 in the summer if im lucky

My fathers '01 Ford SD get's 20mpg's in town,24 on the highway when I'm driving it unloaded,got 18mpg's towing my 6000lbs Blazer on a 2000lbs trailer.My father can only get about 15mpg's highway,10 in the city but he's a maniac.It still gets 9mpg's towing 24,000lbs,not bad.he's got a 150HP BullyDog chip,5" straight pipe(downpipe to exhaust tip),and just a tad over 620,000miles on her the last time I talked to him(original motor+trans).

I only get 20 Hwy in my 97 Club Cab. Of course it is a lifted 4x4 pushing BIG Revos and has a #6 fuel cam. I have gotten as much as 25 MPG with a strong tail wind and doing only 55 MPH.

The truck is bone stock other than having had the resonator on the turbo intake removed and has 153460 miles on it now, all stock exhaust and no chips.
