What kind of transfer case do you have?
the 231 - with 4wd part time
or the 242 with 4wd part time/full time

the US could only get automatics with 242's
So in Europe/South Africa, Australia - where they sell manuals - can you get the 242 - or is it only the 231?

(There's some question as to how well they survive)

If you got the manual trans you would only get the 231 t-case.There's issues with a manual trans and the fulltime option t-cases that leads to something breaking.

The 242 was NEVER mated to a manual transmission from the factory, the only people who have done it are people who decided to experiment with it.
