The fuel head is different - looks like cast metal on top - with the same molded plastic on the bottom. |

That just makes too much sense. I wasn't expecting it. |

It's not an air bleed. The injector return line is the one that attaches to the top of the head. |

The fuel heater in most fuel manager heads is encased in thermoplastic - Cummins\Fleetguard is internal, immersed in the fuel - should have no problems with that new version, as the system has an electric lift pump |

Where is the engine? I only see a big plastic coverplate. First thing I removed from my CRD. I want to see the engine. If I don't want to see the engine... That is what a HOOD is for. |

Exactly, take that stupid cover off so you can see the engine. |

Its not only, not to see the engine but to cut some noise out of the 2.8 CRD. (VM MOTOR) If you drive a Grand Cherokee with the 3.0 liter diesel then you know the difference between noisy diesel and quite Diesel. (MERCEDES MOTOR) |

If you drive a Grand Cherokee with the 3.0 liter diesel then you know the difference between noisy diesel and quite Diesel. (MERCEDES MOTOR) I can't tell a difference with it installed or removed. I say in reality its purely for aesthetics. |

Call me crazy, but two of the things I love best about my diesel are the sound and the smell. Take away those, and you might as well drive a gasser. |

GMCTD is right-there is an involved lift pump- no hand push pump there. Looks like the same Mopar fuel filter used. Man I would like the part # on that fuel manager head! |

I can't find a number for the head assy. The part number wont do you any good since it is an export part number. |

Didn't someone recently post a link to an Australian parts supply house? It would not be too expensive to have it shipped from there. |
