My wife was driving the liberty yesterday and pulled in the driveway and the CEL came on. I went to autozone to have them pull the code and they told me it was a 1250 but they could not tell me what it was. Can anyone help me out thanks Clutch

Those are Boost and Vacuum DTC's - check out the vacuum lines, starting at the vac pump, or at the vacuum regulator over on the turbo-side fender, behind the airbox - should have at least 22"HG vacuum at idle - hose with one-way valve, adjacent power steering reservoir, is vacuum supply from pump

Ok a was checking the vacuum lines with my gage today. I had about 25"hg from the vacuum pump and out the vacuum tank, I had about 25"hg out from the vacuum solenoid into the wastegate solenoid. Out of the wastegate solenoid I had maybe 1"hg at idle. What should I have comming out of the wastegate solenoid?

Is there a good website to find the breakdown of the codes? Here's what I got for the code translation.

P1205 Injector Circuit Open / Shorted - Cylinder #5

0299 is turbo underboost.

I got those from this website. http://www.telematica.gr/Tech/OBD/Codes ... in_en.html

GMCTD, the p1205 code doesn't seem to relate to a vacuum dtc. Do I have a bad list or incorrect information?

Vacuum pump output is correct - should be ~25" vacuum on the hose to the turbo actuator solenoid, and ~15" on the hose to the actuator, variable somewhat by altitude - 1" is failed reservoir hose or solenoid, or leaky actuator hose\tubing, ruptured actuator diaphragm, or failing actuator solenoid

P1250 is vacuum reservoir circuit failure, which goes with the P0299 - a 4cyl engine does not have a 5th injector, so the sanity clause applies (even if it's not Christmas, eh!) - those generic DTC sites cover the entire swash of OBD2 codes - some codes have multiple definitions, covering a range of parameters - each marquee selects those most applicable to the ECM heirarchy in their vehicle lines - the scanned DTC-1250 is the correct reading - the keyed DTC-1205 is incorrect, as the display reverses the two least-significant digits, where 1205 would be 1250
