My son who lives in the Netherlands for his job sent me this email: €27/liter for Castrol Edge 5w30 full-synthetic, and I need 7 liters =
€189.

Ouch.


Should he buy it from another EU country and haul it home?

I think he should just get the hell out of the Netherlands and back to the good old USA. What kind of job is he doing over there? The dutch people are very nice I grew up with some people from Utrecht and I dated a girl from Otterlo but that was a long time ago.

He keeps the data centers going with his American work ethic. Not bad for a 26 year old.
