Maybe some one here will get lucky and find the CRD TCM access software for us there too.

This is the info that I have received on what we need someone to get for us:

The piece of hardware you need is called an IBOX II+, manufactured by Debron Industrial Electronics. But they charge about $3500 for it. They probably have an agreement to not sell them to anyone outside Chrysler. With one of those, you can upload the software into an editable file, edit it, and reflash it.

Then there's the actual edit, all you see is hex. There's probably only about 5 people in Chrysler who have that info saved
.

However, I personally have a non F-37 TCM and a crappy F37d tcm. If we can get someone to crack it, then we can copy it and get it working. I know of two different people that are working on this.

Not necessarily Kerma but some associates of his. Also, I have heard that there is a member on the board here that is working on this with a well known tuner here. I don't care who cracks it as long as it gets cracked and we can get everyone pre F37d!!!!

Thus far, I haven't been able to find out anything, so I keep wondering what the Hemi SRT programmers have accomplished - same 545RFE, same TCM controls, butcept the TCM is combined with the ECM in a single-board PCM - their pid routines have to be similar to ours - only difference is input rpm range and torque convertor stall speed - we got mush oem, and Suncoast adapts the lower-stall Hemi TCC for the KJ CRD, so, if the programmers have done any tighten-up in their TCM, the routines oughta work in our system

FYI: I have hardware\software for access to the KJ CRD TCM, but am unwilling to use mine as test-mule - found only a couple on the 'net, but each time, someone else snapped it up while I was waiting for response from the boneyard - makes me wonder if somebody is attempting stand-alone install of a 545RFE, or possibly someone else may be hot on this trail, also - ennyhoo, at this late date, I'm still needing to buy a '05 or '06 test subject TCM, suitable for firmware dissecting and experimentation - maybe this pork-barrel economic stimuli package will turn up a few more than last year - word to the wise: you guys keep yer hoods closed and locked, and a locking fuel cap wouldn't be a bad idea, eh...................
