| Post subject: | Transmission ticking in Drive |
My 2005 CRD (57k miles) recently developed a constant "ticking" sound when the car is at stop and in Drive. If I put the transmission in neutral, it stops ticking. Any ideas what may be going on here? I do have P0401 and P0299 codes on right now.. which is due to a leaking EGR.. since I have excessive black smoke and some loss in power. I'm going to get that fixed in a week or two by soaking the offending parts in that cleaner and putting my SEGR on. (and some new hoses) I dont' think this has anything to do with the ticking.. just thought I'd list it as well. -nix |
