Ok, whatever dipwad invented limp mode needs to be dragged into the street and beaten.

Obviously my CRD is going to be dog-slow b/c it doesn't currently have a working turbo. But the turbine housing has been cleaned out, the VNT wired in the fully-open position, and shoved back onto the manifold so the exhaust is connected again. I did run it for a few seconds and rev it good so that the manifold was blown clean of any debris. When I tap it for the EGT, I'll do that again. Or, I may just weld a nut onto the manifold since I don't own a tap set.

Anyway, I expect the car to be slow. But it won't frelling SHIFT! I'd imagine it is the computer that is allowing the engine to accelerate to 2500-3000 rpm, while also allowing the transmission to NOT transmit ANY of that power, so that the car remains at 20mph. It will CRAWL up to 28mph, and FINALLY shift into second, then again CRAWL up to 35mph, where it finally shifts into third... And stop at 40mph. No more.

All of this while the engine is RACING, and (I'm quite sure) producing tons of energy.

Codes are complaining of intake air temp, fuel temp, and (obviously) lack of boost.
There were also codes complaining about the ABS battery incorrect and engine module missing, old codes about a glow plug, and one I hadn't seen about cylinder one misfiring, but that one isn't there anymore.

So... How do I get this stinking thing to transmit the power it IS making to the transmission, and out to the wheels? It is obviously making plenty of power without the stupid turbo, but the computer isnt letting it out.

I wouldn't care, but I need to move audio gear tomorrow night, and can't exactly use my motorcycle for that.

geordi: Write a play where a woman named Jacqueline Bauer has super seductive powers and can even seduce the likes of Congressman Barny and even Speaker Nancy. She cleans up DC and gives them all heart attacks with her excess enthusiasm. Jacqueline Bauer is so good that instead of being arrested, the big egos all want their big time with her she keeps moving through the ranks. When she is done She gets married to a star Quarterback runs for President, wins and has a Clean Congress that throws out all the stupid laws.

I know a Fairy Tail, but funny.

With no turbo, you'll have a smoke limitation that won't go away. Also, P0299 underboost will cause you a lot of issues that can leave you in limp mode.

The high shift points are from your foot to the floor, car not going anywhere is due to power-torque limitation from the codes set.

No way to fix it but fix the turbo.

I had a boost solenoid go out once and got a 299 code.

Jeep still ran fine, it just accelerated slow as hell, but would cruise at 70mph all day. I just had to make sure I didn't feed it too much throttle too quickly and blow smoke.
