Okay p1263 - glow plug error - I pulled the connector ohm'ed the contacts 3 @ 0.7 ohms - 1 @ 120ohms.
but I didn't see any numbers - and the wire is wrapped so it's not obvious which cylinder it's going too.
is there a quick way to tell?

Okay - it says the stripes are different
1 Rd/Wt
2 Rd/Br
3 Rd/Yl
4 Rd/Or

That'll work
Thanks

Hold on there pardner. Had the same problem on mine. code said the #1 glow plug was bad. The colored wires only go up to the connector. After that its 4 black wires to the plugs. Problem for mine was that the harness was installed backwards. The number 1 connector pin was actually going to the #4 glow plug. We had to check the resistance on the actual plug to determine which one was bad. Since it was covered under the 7/70 we took it to the dealer and they confirmed and fixed the situation

As far as a quick way to tell, disconnect the wire from the glow plug (if you can reach it) then check the resistance on the connector again. You will get an open circuit on the disconnected one.
