Don't change the Speedo. You will get more mileage out of your Warrenty.

I found one other post about this in the tire section, but no responses. Is anyone aware of a way to adjust the speedometer/odometer when you move to larger tires? I have a 2005, FYI. Thanks! |

Only adjustment would be with the StartScan if it has a slection for the Jeeps like it does for the LX (Magnum, 300C, Charger) cars , and those are limited to the optional sizes available across the LX line. |

The only confirmed way that I have heard to have the speedo adjusted is to have a dealer flash the ECM with the new tire size. I'm not sure if I would worry about it; I went from 215s to 235s and compared to my GPS the speedo is spot on (over a 400 mile trip my odometer was only 1 mile off compared to the GPS odometer - thats about 1/4 of 1% error). |
