Hey Fellas,

What is the thread size of our wheel studs?

Looking into getting some better lug nuts.

TIA.

I'd take yours if they aren't rusty...

I bought my jeep in january and when I had my new tires put on, they had to remove the locks in the shop and throw em out since I didn't have the key. The one's they gave me as replacements looked right that day, but already each wheel and the spare have a rusty lugnut...

1/2"....get some good quality chrome nuts, not the crap metal sheath OEM nuts (they press a thin chrome cap over a steel nut). I bought some Gorilla brand nuts whilst in the States last year.

Thanks for the info. 1/2 x 20 then.

You don't want mine.

Yes, as a matter of fact I'm looking into the Gorilla. I'll keep you posted.

I got a set of Gorilla 7/8 inch (outside hex) long lug nuts for mine a year ago from Summit Racing. The first set that didn't crush or deform or otherwise goober up the studs. They look a little funny on the stock rims, but are right at home on my black steel (winter & off road) rims.

Only problem was that when I ordered them, Summit sent two different types under the same part number. They fixed the issue no questions asked though.
