While refueling at the 3rd station I tried( oters were pump covered) the nozzle sprayed fuel repeatedly.
I could not use the first click. It just kept regurgitating, sparying back out the tank fill tube. It took a long time to fill.
Was it the hose or has my tank sucked a lemon?

You weren't in the commercial only lane? Those fillers are for 55gal and ^ tanks, and the positive displacement pump is turned up for quick-fill in large filler-necks, not even suitable for Diesel-engined passenger vehicles

I only travel in the slow lane.
Only wish I could run with the big dawgs and have a 6 cylinder.
Maybe some day, when Momma gets the big job.

The tank vent was hanging down.
We cleaned it off and re-fed it up along the filler tube and zip-tied it back in place.

I still think that f'in nozzle was cursed by the gasser, Patooie!, demon.
