| Post subject: | P0069 after washing the Jeep |
Threw a P0069 after washing the exterior of the Jeep at the car wash. Pulling of the MAF connector and reseating seemed to clear the problem at least for now. Anyone else have this happen. Thanks to Autozone for checking the codes (key trick quit working after last ECM upload) |

Could it have sucked in some moisture in and given a false reading giving you the error? |

That indicates ECM measured Boost Pressure at key-on - ECM compares BARO sensor to Inlet Pressure sensor and MAP sensor at key-on, values should be equal - could be the MAP sensor is dirty, or the BARO PRESSURE sensor inside the ECM was reacting to the cooler ECM-case temperature resulted after the hose-job - may be just a fluke - we've seen this B4 under similar circumstances, iirc |

Ja it sounds like you upset her a bit when you washed her, perhaps she doesn't like the degreaser you used... |

Now it he check engine light is b ack on again, resaeting the MAF sensor was a temporary fix. The bumper to bumper 100k warranty has been a good investment. If I was sure the MAF sensor would fix it and it cost less than $100 deductable I would just change it myself. |
