Post subject:  Inner tie rod

Anybody had to replace a inner tie rod I just had my front end inspected and found out the drivers side has a little play and should be replaced. I am trying to find the moog part # so I can little shimmy in the steering wheel.

KJ's have rack'n'pinion steering - there is only the rack and it's extension rods and one left tierod end and one right tierod end, neither of which look like that example...................

The KJ's rack&pinion uses inner and outer tie rod ends which both can be replaced.

The inner tie rod the KJ uses looks like the pic below.

The R&P has 4 tie rod ends,2 inner and 2 outer for a total of 4.

Or does that make too much sense. Ten years ago, many parts suppliers offered this option and most were smart enough to know that assembled did not mean pre-aligned.
