roof basket

Hello folks,

The summer is coming and I was looking for a roof basket to put on the CRD for 4x4ing on the beach. I found this one for a very good price and even with free shipping but i dont know how it would look on the KJ. The basket is 52” wide and 48” long. Here is the link for the basket. Does any one have this basket on their KJ and if you do, how does it look?

That basket looks great and priced low. The optional net looks great too. I better shut up or I will end up with one too. :oops:

for 46 dollars and free shipping you really can't go wrong but I'm just afraid that the basket will look to big on the KJ. I guess I just have until tomorrow to think about in before they take the free shipping off.

I use mine all the time. It is a yakima. I needed the mopar crossbars also ($100 each)

The basket looks really good on your rig Bill and I think I'm sold thanks to the pictures that you've provided. Did you noticed any decrease in gas mileage?

Also is that the 44 in. long and 39 in. wide or the bigger one which is the one on my link?

62 long (has extension) by 39. Ya it is really expensive... like most Yakima things.

I went to that site and put one in my shopping basket and the price stayed the same. Makes me think you could buy one for cheap.

I did the same and it makes you think your getting the basket because the link in your cart goes back to the basket but this shows up under the link: Yakima MegaWarrior Stretch Net. I think you would end up with a net instead of the basket. I think they found their error and updated the link...I was ready to pounce though.
