Guys, now that we're slapping on new mufflers, my installer raised a good point - that I should check and see if it's necessary to disconnect the battery and reset the CPU to take advantage of the exhaust system mods. Anyone heard anything along this line? |

I'm not sure Jeep is on the CAN II bus system, if it is then that would work. However I think it would just learn by itself. My Magnum is a CAN II system and it seems to have adapted without the battery disconct or sudden throttle release for reprograming with key turned to on, but not start, that adjust throttle responce thing.

I'm not sure it would matter much because the ECM is probably looking at boost and air temperature in the intake to determine the fuel curve, but it certainly can't hurt! |
