Has anyone ever gotten this code? Considering it's a diesel, I can't figure out why it would be throwing this code. The dealership can't either. Any one out there that had something similar happen?

Totally guessing here but could it be a clogged injector? Not sure why it would throw that code either.

Is it running like there is a a mis-fire? We have had some instances where bizarre codes would pop up becouse the used the gasser software as a starting point.

Well what brought me to the dealership was the fact that the Trans seemed to just hang up and slip while shifting.
The check engine light had been on for several months as the EGR Float Control valve was broken keeping the EGR closed so since it was running fine there was no rush.
The dealer plugs in scanner and of course tells me about the above mentioned problem.
The service manager took the Jeep for a test drive with the scanner plugged in. He got about a block away and it came limping back.
He opened the hood and the engine was shaking around as though it had broken a motor mount. The scanner was showing Mis Fire in Number one cylinder.
We all said at the same time, no spark plugs, what the hell could cause a misfire. The tech then thought it could be a clogged injector.
They have the Jeep as it's covered under the extended warranty. This was 4/30. Was told they are ordering new fuel filter assembly as they leak air in, fire, blah blah. New EGR, EGR Control Valve, possibly a new turbo and hoses.
That's the deal. I'm baffled as they are because again, limited build with limited techs that are trained in fixing them.
So once I get the Jeep back I have the SERG to go on and the Kennedy lift pump.
