Ok I'm always in performance mode. Does anyone make a high perfomance intercooler for the CRD? I'd like to get an adventure Trailer to tow around the Washington Cacades. They gross weight around 1600lbs.

Towing a trailer around five and six thousand feet could use a better intercooler.

Thanks.

Tom

The vehicle was validated pulling GCW at Denver altitude up thru the Eisenhower pass (even higher) and it was never an issue. I personally think you could spend your money more wisely.

I already towed 3,000 lbs enclosed trailer where you mention through the entire length of I-90 including 6% plus climb for ten miles at Rye grass in the middle of the summer with no problem. Then I repeated that about six more times still no problem.

That's why I asked. Where is Rye Grass?

There really isn't anything special about I-90. A 3000' pass.

It before you hit the Columbia reservoir going east. The longest climb is going east to west 6% plus. I been up MT Baker and Mt Rainer and felt it no different just told you the most workout traveling in Washington in cross country trips (Delaware to Washington) that proved that the CRD can take a beating through the mountains.

You're talking about Vantage. Yes all those places would prove your point
