Even with the recent report of a failure, I am thinking of getting a set. What I was quoted from my local dealer was pretty close to what the Samco hoses run, but weren't these redesigned to be better than the original ones?

As for the retailer, who do you recommend, I know a lot of you have used boostcontroller.com. I also found turbowholesale.com, for $257.55.

And what about the clamps, should I get the Samco set?

The hose clamps I got from Boostcontroller were the T-bolt type. Anything will work as long as there are no slots in the clamping band to cut the hose. The best type are called constant tension that maintain pressure over temperature changes.

Man I searched all over that site and couldn't find anything for the Jeep Liberty, much less a Samco set. Did you talk to a sales rep?

I was referring to using theirs, or some standard hose clamps

Standard clamps will damage the hoses. Make sure the bands have no thread slots.

Hey guys, I was thinking of picking up a set of these too! My CRD is an 06 with 36,000 miles. For preventive measures I was thinking of changing over! What should your mileage be roughly, when it's time to buy a set of Samco's? When typically do the stock ones usually pack it in?

Thanks!

I wonder if 40,000 mile life span is the norm for most? Does anyone know if there is a distributor for Samco in Canada?

How about Celine Dion? Yeah right EH! sarcasm

No kidding! If we can get it, it just costs more! Look at the Liberty Crd for example, they cost way more up here and they only sent 500 CRD's to Canada. That's the why mine came from Texas.

What would you guys consider the deadline in regards to mileage when it comes changes the hoses?
