Is there any way to check if you need a upgraded pump without tearing apart the trans? Id like to install the transgo/suncoast and not sure if i should order the pump as well. 2005 and recalls are all done so says the site |

Only method is to look at the customer's copy of the dealer's job sheet for the work performed - the part numbers would reflect the upgrade |

it would be your copy of the work the dealer performed for the F37 if you weren't the owner at the time - you might be able to get some dealership records or at least get them to look it up (I think any dealer can pull VIP record history) |

| Post subject: | Part Number |
I have spent some time perusing these forums, especially the needle in the haystack portion. Unfortunately, I have yet to turn up with the part number for the new transmission pump. I would be ever so grateful if on of you uber-knowledgeable scholars could help me out in this department. I had my tranny pump replaced in Jan 08, just want to make sure it is the good one. I have a suncoast converter and shift kit (probably an auxiliary cooler too) waiting to be installed. Thanks. |
