Is there any way to check if you need a upgraded pump without tearing apart the trans? Id like to install the transgo/suncoast and not sure if i should order the pump as well.
2005 and recalls are all done so says the site

Only method is to look at the customer's copy of the dealer's job sheet for the work performed - the part numbers would reflect the upgrade

it would be your copy of the work the dealer performed for the F37

if you weren't the owner at the time - you might be able to get some dealership records

or at least get them to look it up (I think any dealer can pull VIP record history)

I have spent some time perusing these forums, especially the needle in the haystack portion. Unfortunately, I have yet to turn up with the part number for the new transmission pump. I would be ever so grateful if on of you uber-knowledgeable scholars could help me out in this department. I had my tranny pump replaced in Jan 08, just want to make sure it is the good one. I have a suncoast converter and shift kit (probably an auxiliary cooler too) waiting to be installed.

Thanks.

Master Chad had the Suncoast TC and Transco shift kit done (for me :D) HA!

So how do you know whether you NEED the pump done as well?
