Well folks, got a few questions, mostly for the CRD owners in the Chicago area. I've been out of town for a while and just checked the list of Chrysler dealers in Chi-town area that will be closing down. Well, who will be left? Who do you area folk consider to have done a good job maintaining your CRD's? My own KJ has been a lot of quirky fun, no real problems that Continental Jeep in Countryside hasn't been able to handle, but I guess they're done and out in a couple of weeks. Secondly, the vehicle is a lease vehicle with about 3 months left. As I said, the car has been a bit of quirk, and we love the sound of that diesel and letting folks know we're burning bio. We're seriously considering making an offer for purchase - it's an '06 Sport and will probable have 34K or so at lease end. So, any thoughts from members with regard to price, future maintenance, etc., etc.? |

Andy, that's some serious mileage for a metro Chicago kind-a-guy! |

Next time I take mine to a dealer mechanic, I'm going to find a local Sprinter dealer. I've got a while yet, 100k is the timing belt replacement and I only have 72k on mine right now. |
