they have been saying they will release this car in the US. Haven't seen it yet though. Wont believe it until i see it

Ribbon.

If you read trade publications you would know that they had JD Power review the original model due this spring. JD recommended something like 21 changes that would make them more appealing to the American market. One item mentioned in the link was bigger seats. The only mechanical item was the transmission but the details were not mentioned what was changed

Mahindra is owned by the TATA group and Mr Tata does things one way and that's right. He also ownes Jaguire and Land Rover. Dealers actually got visits from him and his team. Something they never got when Ford owned them.

although the volt may really come out in 2010 now.

i hope they are more reliable then land rovers and jags. :D
If they make a nice diesel it would be good. Time will tell how long they last (without breaking down that is)

Well again, go to your local libarary and check out Automotive News. Jag is getting very good initial quality reports since Ford
sold them.
