I have the SEGR kit but have not installed it, call me a lazy coward but it makes me uncomfortable, all those wires.
The Check Engine Light (CEL) is on due to a disconnected MAF.
The Diesel Weasel, kids hate the name, has 55,000 miles, Suncoast TC, tranny cooler and shift kit installed.
Wanted: more fuel mileage, maybe more towing power and a nonfunctional EGR and related CEL.
What do you think, which is worth the money. I will not do the SEGR, Inmotion and Edge together due to time, cost and one or more of the kids will wreck the beast due to well kids are kids.

I just installed the Edge Trailjammer 2 days ago and am in the process of deciding if it was worth it even though I got a good deal on it. In the tow mode, there seems to be virtually no difference in performance but hoping for some increased MPG. Edge suggests 10 HP and 15 ft/lbs of increased torque in this level so I guess you would hardly notice that anyway. Level 3 is supposed to increase HP by 23 with 32 ft/lbs of torque. There is a noticable increase in power but probably with a decrease in MPG. Edge suggests that Level 3 only be used fo a few minutes in hot weather and stop and go traffic because of the increase in EGT's. Without gauges, I would be very cautious. Coming from a V8 6.0 diesel with an Edge tuner to the 4 cyl 2.8 with the Edge Trailjammer, I guess the increases are proportional. Just gotta be careful with the TC.

I have EDGE and INMOTION - first thing most tuners do is increase APP sensitivity so even the most insensitive of buns-dynos will get a sense of new-found power

But, who better to offer a hot new tune than the R&D group that gave you the oem tune..........and F37 - I'm interested in trying it out and comparing to EDGE and INMOTION, but, for those without Suncoast, the caveat goes back to that old adage:
beware of Geeks bearing shifts...................

Could be, but engineers have a tendency to stick to safe procedures during R&D - most drivers, tho, upon finding out that they suddenly have a hot rod, a nimble little go-cart with power enuff to leave most anything at a stoplite, seldom are capable of resisting their more primitive urges, and caution usually becomes an easily forgotten concept - F37 had a definite motive(s), incl driveline shudder after lockup

Understand, I'm not saying GDE or their tuning reflash is bad, or should be avoided - my intentions are to try it, also - but, if your drivetrain is oem stock, just go cautiously on the loud pedal until there is more feedback on that combination - will be interested to see how the stock Hemi TC upgrade responds with this or any other retune

Seems as tho those Hemi TC's are scarce as hen's teeth - JON's just arrived, but he's off on a walk-about out in the outback so progress is on hiatus

There was one on ebay a long while back for like $30.

I asked around here if it would work and didn't get a reply, I guess the answer now turns out to be a "yes"

Ummmm.........I personally wouldn't use one of those, even if only as a core return - they do wire-brush most of the age-old accumulation of grease and dirt off before painting it, and someone does give it a lick and a promise better next time with well-past-useful-life #100 sandpaper, attempting to remove the seal-worn groove in the pump drive hub, but.....nah!

A new Hemi TCC is only ~$220 online...................

Are you talking transmission controller or torque converter?
My biggest concern is towing the Airstream or maybe getting better fuel mileage.
We already have enough power to GO TO JAIL.
The daughter is driving the new Vibe, had to take back the Diesel Weasel.
Told her I needed 4wd to get the boat up the ramp.

TC = Torque Converter
TCM = Transmission Control Module

Suncoast radiation-hardens the Hemi TC for dragracing - if you've no such plans, the stock oem Hemi TC will give you equivalent performance upgrade, incl the lower stall that improves driveability prior to TCC lockup

I often use TCC to include the Torque Convertor Clutch
