here are the cods I pulled,

P0101-MAF SENSOR SIGNAL NEGATIVE DEVIATION.
P0101-MAF SENSOR SIGNAL POSITIVE DEVIATION.
P0401-EGR SOLENOID CIRCUIT NEGATIVE DEVIATION.

Anyone else get these at the same time? If so what did you do about it? Thanks!!!

I cleaned the MAF it came back on, I could either replace the MAF or pull off the EGR, looks like a fun job!

I was hoping to hear from someone that might have seen the same thing.

Thanks.

So it is a good thing (disregaurding emissions) if the EGR is stuck closed because of a bad MAF? Do you think there is any chance of the egr being stuck open which is oviously a bad thing? I was going to get a new MAF sensor and see if that will fix my problem but ifit doesn't and I have a bad egr then I am out some big chash for this fix. I would rather invest my money in the SEGT kit seeing as I don't have to pass any tests. That would also be better for my rig, has anyone seen any downsides/sideeffects of the SEGR?

Thanks.

I got those codes and it was my EGR. $750 later for EGR replacement.. it went away.. Then I got home and had a P0720 code appear. Turns out the dealer was tinkering around with my transmission w/o my knowledge and broke a sensor. Another $150 later and another day in the shop and I had her back. What a horrible experience. I'm going to get that Green tune to turn off that EGR.

The SEGR won't affect federal emmisions testing at all. As long as there is no CEL lit up, the CRD remains well within EPA requirements. Some states may have more stringent requirements than the federal ones, but which ones they are I don't know. If there are more stringent ones, I still doubt that the CRD would fail. Now if we were talking post 07 requirements, they may not pass the NOx restriction, but I still think that the VOCs would be well within specs.

I had both the 101 and 401 codes at the same time.. They replaced the egr valve and FCV both under warranty. The FCV has stripped gears and was noisey. These codes came and went for several months before I took it in. MrMopar has said cleaning the egr valve after you take the electrical part off will/should fix it  They charged Chrysler $700 when they replaced them.

Is the FCV called an FCV in the parts manual and/or does anybody who had it replaced have the part number for it? thanks!
