Post subject: | CEL codes |
Decided to undue the ORM to see if there were any current CEL's. CEL stayed on even after several engine cycles. Went to AutoZone and they pulled 3 codes: Thought he said 1062 and 1065 but must be P0262 and P063 Injector #1 and #2 Circuit High Wiring Short to Positive. Another code in the '100 series but didn't write it down suggesting Mass Air Flow low Volume. I am going to unhook battery for a while and hook back up to see if CEL goes off. Otherwise, engine running fine but possible lower than expected fuel economy. I did have Edge TrailJammer hooked up in setting #2 while it was being scanned. Any suggestions? |

Left battery unhooked for about 30 minutes. CEL did not clear. Any suggestions about codes from previous post? Should Trailjammer be unhooked when reading codes? |

Clear the codes and see if they come back without the trailjammer. When i had one it didn't throw any codes though. You should go to autozone and buy a cheapo scanner. I clear my orm code after i start the car every time. Only takes a few secs. The cel will come back on when driving if anything is wrong. After i undid my orm i had to clean my maf with maf cleaner. I had a 3 codes show up when i plugged it back in. 2 had nothing to do with the maf. Cleaning it cleared them though. |

Thanks, I'll see if that works. |

Cleaned the MAF sensor with the recommended cleaner. Still have CEL. Went to Autozone and they said they can read the codes but not clear them. The cheapest code reader they had was $79. Was hoping for the $30 price range. |
