Post subject: | Tranny Cooler Return Line |
Hello Fellas, Quick question: Which of the hard lines on the right (passenger) side of the transmission is the return line from the cooler? Top or bottom? TIA. |

Well its the one from the driver's side of the bottom of the cooler-- not sure if one can see this with the stock valances/air dams in place-- one way to tell is on a cold start-- run the engine for ```5 mins and shut down and "feel " the lines coming out of stock cooler and return line will be noticeably cooler by touch. |

Thanks. Going to install the temp sensor on Monday. Just want to make dang sure before I cut the line. Silverdiesel- I will trace it from the bottom of the cooler from the drivers side and will also do the feel test. gmctd-I'm assuming "lower is from" means from the cooler and is the return to the tranny. Just making sure. PS- What the best tranny pan sealer/RTV you have found to use on our vehicle? TIA. |

TIA. Use the black stuff from Jeep. It will hold the pan in place without bolts. Add bolts for extra assurance. ![]() |
