I tried doing a search as i know this has been asked before. Today with around 1600 miles on the car at 65mph I got a sort of stutter misfire for about 1 second or so. I wasn't accelerating or decelerating I was on cruise set at 65 on a very slight down grade. I saw no visible smoke but my wife who was passenger noticed though didn't comment. I know it can't be serious or it would have had more posting space just need some advice. |

Probably something simple like a fuel bubble or a bit of water. But it could be symptomatic of something more serious. If so, your computer should have registered the issue and logged some trouble codes. Find a dealer, AutoZone or other place that can read your computer's codes. |

Derek, Are you sure it wasn't a tranny shudder? I'm taking my KJ in for the tranny TSB - 21-016-05 this morning. In addition to the delayed shifting right after starting and the occasional shudder also right after starting, I also noticed some very slight shuddering right around 60-65 if I held constant throttle. It wasn't ever bad enough that a passenger could feel though. Could also have just been the lockup torque converter and cruise trying to decide what gear and throttle position to use? I'd do the standard stuff, see if it happens again, are you using fuel from the same place, etc. |

I just got back from the dealer I bought my silver 2005 Liberty CRD from, for the 3rd service trip. bought it in mid-December and now have 3800 miles on it. I took it in a couple days after I purchased it for front end noise(replaced front sway bar bushings) engine mis-fire(reflashed comp.) abs light on(turned it off and cleared comp.) the second time the front end made a funny noise and the engine was missing and exhaust noise. (they found nothing) today engine missing at highway speeds and abs light (they said that a new flash for the tcm came out today and I was the first to get it through them. The missing seems to have gone away. hope this helps and sorry for the long post! |

Does anyone have a copy of this one? Mine does this and the dealer couldn't do squat. |
