Has anyone experienced this? I drive at night with the instrument panel lights set on low and while driving they flicker to the highest setting and come back to normal. Happens for a second. Dealer can never reproduce as they are never there when it's dark. Sorry if this is posted elsewhere or has already been covered. Thanks in advance!

I've seen this happen on mine. It happens rarely enough that I haven't worried about fixing it. I noticed that it stops when I adjust the brightness up or down a bit.

Mine does the same thing. I don't remember ever seeing a fix for it.

My Jeep hasn't done this but my government vehicle (Dodge) does it occasionally. Try rotating the dimmer switch back and forth several times; could be dirty contacts that just need cleaning.

It's the multi function stalk. Several people have reported this problem and had the stalk replaced.

Mine's done this since day one, it just blinks on occasion, not a big deal, common in here....

Like CATCRD said, it's the smart switch. Our's did that too. Replaced the switch under warranty, and all is good. My 06 Ram had schizophrenic blinkers and it was the switch as well.

Had my switch replaced under warranty and it didn't change a thing.

IMHO, I wouldn't pay to have the multi function stalk replaced for this symptom since many new ones may still have the defect, if it is indeed the switch causing the problem.

Yeah, mine does this about once a fortnight. Infrequently enough that I've zero confidence that the dealer would be able to reproduce so I've never followed up.
