looking for advice on selling my 2006 Liberty Sport CRD. i don't know what the going price is for a super clean CRD with 10,000 miles. 2" lift with Rubicon wheels and tires. i'm in oregon, should i try to sell it in california? non diesel kj prices are in the toilet. is this worth selling or should i stick it in the barn until my daughter can drive(2018)? bought a jk and couldn't stomach trading in the kj. thanks |

You'll get offers and opinions but one thing all here seem to agree on is the diesels are worth the original price of the diesel option more then the gassers. Don't look for a return on your wheels and lift. Mid teens seem to be what they are going for and some come her to find used ones. Your daughter would have a real neat jeep for her first car |

thanks, i'll try the bay area craigslist for sh--- and giggles. 15k would be alright but for 10k i'll just keep using it for a lawn decoration... it also comes with a nice extended warranty. |

No, he shouldn'ta oughta said that he bought his CRD converted for thut thar rose-color fuel... The revenooers don't take kindly to somebody sticking his hand in THEIR pocket! But he didn't say that. Thankfully, nobody I know of has. It would be VERY not-bright to say something like that, as even people who have been in the news for running their own home-brew biodiesel have sometimes been visited by the revenue brute squad looking for the pound of flesh that ISN'T getting paid per gallon... Whether it is 1 gallon or 1000... They want their due to misuse as they see fit. |

I only run government taxed bio-d in my heated tank..............and thats the truth, ruth.Had a sit down with the IRS,about the bio-d biz and soap biz we have been doing on the side. They said and I quote "If someone is burning less then 600 gallons of Bio-diesel or another WVO fuel it is not worth there time to persue such a casein a court of law".............green light go baby go.Besides they are still hunting for big fishes and don't have what little fish like me..............free and greasy down the road I go................H |
