I have had the same problem for the past 6 months. I took it in for an alignment but the tech told me that I needed new ball joints and tie rod end. Because of time issues I hadn't gotten around to getting the replacements until a couple of weeks ago. So I was going to get the tie rod end replaced, and then, get the dealer to replace the ball joints under the recall warranty. When I brought it in the the shop for the tie rod end job, the tech (a different one this time) tells me that the ball joints are fine. I went out with him and the service manager to look at it, and yep, they were tight as new, no matter how much we pried on them. The tie rod end was within specs, but had a little bit of movement, so I had them replace it. The alignment however was WAY off. The only sign I had that the toe-in and camber was off, was some slight road wandering and the higher wear rate on the inner edges of my front tires.
I think that it was knocked out last winter when my wife put it into a ditch backwards.
