I always get a kick out of the idiots who claim that biofuels take food away from hungry people's mouths. Last time I checked, no humans were eating BT corn. Health nuts (the only people who eat whole bean soy) won't touch GM soy, which is virtually the only variety which is used for bio fuel production. Rape oil is the only product safe for human consumption (although GM varieties are rapidly taking over market share) which is diverted to fuel production, and the average person in the western hemisphere could certainly do with substantially less fat in their diet.
