I've been thinking of getting some sort of decal or badge for the back of the jeep for a while now.

The other day as I was DRIVING IN to work I thought wouldn't it be cool to have a personalized license plate that says TURBODSL. I thought to myself I need to check and see if that plate was available.

The very same day as I'm DRIVING HOME, I pass a CRD Liberty Midnight blue sport identical to mine. And guess what his license plate said... TURBODSL.

Now I have to ask what are the odds of thinking up a license plate, running into a car (at random) with that very plate the very same day, and that plate be on an identical vehicle.

Maybe its just me, but I thought that was pretty interesting, so I thought I'd share it here

"You have entered ---- the Twilight Zone." Do do do do; do do do dooo

Either that or you have the power to open a fourth dimension time warp with your mind, a la Donnie Darko

1 in about 10,000 CRD's in North America for chance of seeing any CRD (might be better to only include those registered in MI)
1 in 2,500,000 for chance of seeing any particular Michigan license plate (population is 10,000,000, 1 car for each 4 people in the state)

Long odds...

How about TURBOCRD?

Thats not bad. Lost member Ripster has the Michigan plate CRDTRBO (at least according to the pic next to his name). I was looking at something that definitively states its a diesel. Something more along the lines of the TURBO DIESEL badge pictured on your jeep. And I might as well ask now. Where did that badge come from (Ram diesel?) and do you mind if I become a copy cat?

The Michigan Secretary of State has a website that you can try out options to see if they are taken

http://services.sos.state.mi.us/plates/

I've already checked and 'DIESEL' is taken. That's what I wanted...

**edit**
'KJDISL' could work...

Not a problem, imitation is the highest form of flattery. A lot of people have asked, but I've yet to see anyone have one made up. I had mine made by Billet Badges. They are also the supplier of the LOST Trail Tested badges.
