Today had a strange happening, driving along and fuel gauge drops to E. Then a few miles later starts to come back a 1/4 mark at a time. I thought I had seen this on the forum, but a search did not show it. No codes, low fuel light came on, and then off as it climbed back up. Anyone see this before? Tank was full at the time. |

The first tune they released did not have that, the new one makes the fuel gauge more linear and sets your idle speed at 800 rpm in 4-Low. |

I really think the sender in the tank may be the problem, the GDE tune I do not think is the issue, it ran for days, its not original, so will see as the fluid level goes down if the gauge starts working again. It is the cummins in tank unit, which I would suspect over the tune. Have contacted them and they have had no issues, so go with the simplest prospect, a hanging up float unit, once I get the fluid level down will drop the tank and see. Just checking to see if any other cummins units have had the issue. |

New Part number replacement now 5143160AB and the price plus shipping is 179.00 from Mopar Parts. Once I have it will see how it compares to the one in the tank now. I was so careful with the wiring I have ordered a new pump will see how it goes. |
