So I'm thinking about adding a coolant gauge, and was wondering if others have done this, and if so, where they placed the probe?

I don't know where our current coolant probe is. I was thinking of tapping the thermostat housing, since it is so large and replaceable, if i mess it up it wont matter much?. Then again I'd have to tap any new ones as well.
