1) Local costs of doing business such as Taxes, Wages, utilities, and shoplifting.
2) State of the local economy bad economy drives prices down.
3) Local competition drives prices down.
4) How many stores any local owner owners, this tends to inflate their EGO and they charge more because they feel they deserve it.

I did the Fleet filter $125 order.
Figure your usage for 50,000 miles, for air, oil and fuel.
I did 11 fuel, 5 air and 2 fuel or something like that and got 10% for the over $125 purchase.

I was tired of not being able to get the filter for the right price.
Check it out

Does the NAPA or WIX version void the warranty at all?

I just called my local NAPA, the WIX 33647 (10 micron) is $20 CDN, the NAPA GOLD is $42 CDN  , but he could not tell me the difference and I could not find the info online, in fact, the only NAPA number I could find was 3647 which looks to be the same thing. Anyone know any different ?

the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act says that they can't cancel a warranty for using a non-Mopar part.

If you looka WHERE the filters are made, most come from the same place, which means they come form the SAME factory. Most filters are made in Gastonia NC, in one big factory. MOST NOT ALL.

I have several Mopar fuel filters. Same part numbers. One is made in Italy. Newer one is made in China. Where is the Napa filter made?

My extended warranty through Mercury insurance covered it. They got a wrong set of parts numbers which accounted for the initial decline.

As another has said :) http://www.fleetfilter.com for NAPA/WIX filters. I paid $19.71 for fuel filters and $3.85 for oil filters on my last order.

Dealers are ripping people on parts to stay open. I bought a ignition lock for my 00 cherokee in January. It was $128  I later looked at a online dealer and the suggest list price was $64 and their price was $52.

So the DEALER CHARGED ME DOUBLE THE SUGGEST LISTED PRICE :dizzy:

The first time shame on you, second time shame on me :goink:
