KWP2000, Galletto, MPC5xx

Anyone managed to read (or map) the Liberty's ecu with an after-market OBD2 flasher?

I've got a Galletto clone cable here. The software that came with it was written for the european ECU so it doesn't work. Although I can put it to the EDU16 model and it will at least talk to it.

Good to know.
None of the oem flashers I mentioned say they can talk to our ECUs so I bread-boarded a few of the clone circuits floating around the net to try for myself. So far no luck.

Actually my next try is a K-line/L-line version and Galletto next.
The K-L version that can be found on the net is just wrong (L-line is no good).

If I can get it to work, I will post my schematics. Although, even if it works, it is still cheaper to just buy $20 ebay clone.
Unless they are using the K-L circuit I mentioned before :)

If the ECU responds, it probably can be reprogrammed. It looks like Galletto stores the protocols in .chk files that may be modifiable.

I haven't had a chance to look any further into interfacing the cable. I was thinking I'd use rom raider to view the bin though once I got a copy.
