a month ago,was work on a location where we where too change wireless bb gear but the van carring the gear decided too follow me and got stuck in a swampy field and i had too attach a tow rod too pull out van,vw caddy

normaly i put in 4 wheel high to tow but for some reason i had in 4 wheel low,no problem, pulled him out ,the i change it back on seletor too 2 wheel high, heres the puzzle

it shows on panel that its part time in orange even doe it in 2 wheel high,so if i move selector too 4 wheel high, part time light goes off but its not in 2 wheel high ,
tryed everything ,right now its in 2 wheel high for normal high way driving and the light saying part time in a orange or yellow light is on,

any ideas,is there maybe something stuck in sensor or what

Sounds like the transfer case position sensor. It's a fairly common complaint.
